I am completely dissapointed in the new version of D2L. I understand how to navigate in the system, but it is missing so many of the valuable features of the old version, that it is actually slower to work with. There is no visual connectivity between the discussion topics and the threaded discussions. The new format requires additional scolling and searching, and the preview pane is of virtually no use anymore, and just takes up screen space. I am frustrated with the new version because it will impact my ability to learn and take additional time out of my day to navigate the new system. Why did D2L have to mess with a good thing? :(

Thank you for your comments. There are some settings in the discussion area that could be causing your frustration. Please see my new post, “Discussion Area Concerns.” If you have further questions/concerns, let us know.

    Thanks!
