Grades Tool
The Grades tool allows you to view your grade for course assignments, exams, etc., and can include statistical information about each.
Access Grades
To access Grades, click on the Grades link from the main Course Home page.
What do all of the Columns mean?

Grade Item: the assignment or item’s name that has been graded.

Points: your score out of the total points possible for the Item.

Comments [optional]: comments posted by the instructor regarding your assignment or item.
Note: All of these columns will only be visible if your instructor has enabled them to be seen by students.
View Class Average and Other Statistics
View the class average and other statistics that the instructor has chosen to release to students.
You can choose to click the statistics icon beside the Category’s Name, or beside an individual assignment to view statistics for a particular quiz or assignment.
The Instructor can choose to allow or not allow students the ability to see statistics.
Statistics for both Categories and Grade Items include:
· Average
· Grade Distribution by number of users
· Final Grade
